High velocity impact test

Two shatter-resistant cushioning layers are bonded inside each Polaroid PTX4000 lens making them safe for medium-impact sports, driving, outdoor activities and everyday life.
Lower quality lenses such as those made from acrylic can fragment on impact. They offer low shock absorption and any impact is transferred to the frame, the eye and the eye zone.
See how other lenses literally explode or give way under duress and how the Polaroid PTX4000 lens continues to protect the eye and the eye zone.
