We use Thermofusion™ Technology to curve our lenses

Only Thermofusion™ Technology guarantees to preserve total polarizing capability and offers distortion-free vision.

Traditional manufacturers use vacuum-forming to curve their polarized lenses. This often results in lenses which warp the wearer’s perception of sizes, shapes and distances, often without them even realizing. Since the eye is forced to compensate for the lenses inferior optical performance, regular sunglass wearers are at risk of eye-strain. Injection-moulding offers better optics than vacuum-forming but this technique compromises polarizing efficiency instead.

Thermofusion™ Technology allows us to produce lenses which are thicker at the centre and tapered towards the edges. Thermofusion™ Technology optically ‘fine-tunes’ the lens while curving it - resulting in optically perfect polarized lenses.

Thermofusion Technology creates optically fine tuned lensesThermofusion™ Technology also allows us greater flexibility in creating greater curvature in our polarized lenses, so we can produce polarized lenses for 2, 4, 6 and 8-base frames and 6-base masks. We also produce toric lenses in many of these options. Other techniques simply cannot provide polarized lenses across this complete range of curvature options.
